You know the speed of light, so what's the speed of dark?

Why are you still sitting here? Have you gotten your portobello, amazingly, stunningly, green pickled, bouncy, inflatable, air radiating double cheeseburger which is only worth $2?

One fine afternoon at a McDonald outlet of North Point, an ordinary boy from an ordinary village in an ordinary country called Malaysia received his first bite of the world revolutionising double cheese burger. McDonald is found in almost every part of the world. It was founded in May 15, 1940.

This is no ordinary cheeseburger, i must say! A bite into it and you will feel like exploding in your pants because it will expand your stomach to the size of an overweight elephant! The ecstatic aura will make you feel numb with your taste buds tingling like mad drug addicts wanting for more! The beef and cheese look like a couple so tightly fitted together that they are not able to be separated. The warm cheese melts in your mouth, giving you a rush of blood through your veins.

Beautifully decked with a thick layer of tomato sauce, the burger is literally as soft as a pillow. The cheese oozes out like an avalanche covering the entire mountain with a thick sticky yellow cream. Instead of being trashy, stingy and mean like the cheeseburger, the double cheeseburger is two times the size of the cheese burger making it more profitable than any other burger. it feels like a whole chunk of jingly flesh on your thighs. And you go ooh la la at the sight of this amazing world prodigy burger. I have seen people staring at this burger for a long time, saliva dripping out like icicles in a cave.

Smelling like a dozen bottles of perfumes this energetic smell makes you feel high. This burger will leave you a sensation you will never forget! Unlike sniffing glue which is harmful, this is actually good as it makes you hyper like a billion monkeys who have butterflies in their stomachs. It has a roasted aroma. It is like a marshmallow slowly heated under a strong fire. The smell just makes you jump up and down making you feel like banging your head on the table.

The sound of the double cheese burger being bitten into has no sound but when your teeth munches it, it sounds like a snare drums rhythmically vibrating through your mind, hypnotising you to the beat of the African drums. It takes you to another planet and you feel transformed like a new person being born again. It takes you back to you childhood days reminding you of the good old times where you used to play with your friends.

This burger is definitely a treat you would not want to miss out. Someday you could buy one and pamper yourself. So I would like to conclude saying that life is short, have a double cheeseburger. When life gives you lemons, cut them in half and squirt life in the eye!

Tuna Sandwich at AISS

Today, we will be reviewing the famous tuna sandwich of the north, of which you can find in Ahmad Ibrahim Secondary School Canteen, 751 Yishun Avenue 7 S(768928). This stall has been here for more than a decade. Mrs Lim started off with only her signature tuna sandwich, but has since expanded into the wide array of snacks you see today.

The sandwich is toasted to the right tinge of golden-brown. It is crispy on the outside but yet soft enough on the inside to create a contrast. She is also generous with the fillings and they ooze out the moment you attempt to sink your teeth into it. Even when served cold, you can catch a subtle waft of the tuna and mayonnaise aroma. As you swirl a bite in your mouth, you can savour the tangy citrus which she cleverly employs to complement the fishy tuna taste.

The drawback is that it is a tad too pricy for its size. $0.60 for a small sized sandwich, though definitely still worth a try.

so what are you waiting for, hurry down and give your tastebuds a delectable treat today!
