Tuna Sandwich at AISS

Today, we will be reviewing the famous tuna sandwich of the north, of which you can find in Ahmad Ibrahim Secondary School Canteen, 751 Yishun Avenue 7 S(768928). This stall has been here for more than a decade. Mrs Lim started off with only her signature tuna sandwich, but has since expanded into the wide array of snacks you see today.

The sandwich is toasted to the right tinge of golden-brown. It is crispy on the outside but yet soft enough on the inside to create a contrast. She is also generous with the fillings and they ooze out the moment you attempt to sink your teeth into it. Even when served cold, you can catch a subtle waft of the tuna and mayonnaise aroma. As you swirl a bite in your mouth, you can savour the tangy citrus which she cleverly employs to complement the fishy tuna taste.

The drawback is that it is a tad too pricy for its size. $0.60 for a small sized sandwich, though definitely still worth a try.

so what are you waiting for, hurry down and give your tastebuds a delectable treat today!
