Melt your world with ham.

This delightful dish can be found in the corners of Southern Singapore.

Beyond the ambience of the heavenly restaurant, they have food from all over the world. For instance food from Spain, and food from Italy. Among all of the delicacies from all over the world, my favourite was this simple dish that is really quite common. Maple glazed ham. It might look ordinary but in fact, it is the best tasting ham that I had ever consumed. Maple sauce and ham is a really good combination. The amount of salt from the ham and the amount sweetness of the maple sauce, they go well with each other and neither of these will taste good on its own. I can bet, the smell of the Maple sauce will lure you, it'll bring you to the ham, you will never be able to resist the essence of Maple in the air and thus, you'd want to taste it. Once you're done chewing, salivating and licking your fingers, you'll begin to crave for more.

It is definitely worth the money and time if I had the choice to dine there again. Attention will be lavished on customers, us. The staff makes sure that every customer comes and goes happily. They provide marvellous service.

Ben & Jerry's - What more would you want?

This year, Singapore’s taking summer heat to the next level. Before you know it, you would be panting, fanning yourself furiously and drenched with sweat under the merciless sun. But fear not, Ben and Jerry’s has got the perfect remedy. A sweet serving of all natural ice cream that would definitely tickle your taste-buds and sate your cravings.

Treat yourself to an endless selection of mind-blowing ice cream, ranging from unique flavours with names like Chunky Monkey, Chubby Hubby, Turtle Soup, Phish Food, Dublin Mudslide, Cookie Dough and much more, including my personal favourite, Strawberry Cheesecake. They have a hard texture, a rough surface that melts into a soft and creamy liquid that would run down your throat. Before you know it, your tub or bowl of ice cream would be licked-clean, but its sweetness would still linger on your tongue. No doubt Ben & Jerry's has my vote for the best ice cream ever made.


What's more, if you have missed the Ben & Jerry’s Chunk Fest – hoho – you are gonna regret this big time! This is the first-ever ice cream festival held at the Fort Canning Green, organised by the good people of Ben & Jerry's. Best of all, admission is FREE for all – and that means you have got no excuse to miss out on the fun. There were 34 flavours available, including the 12 exclusive flavours that were available for that special day only!

The outlet at VivoCity is quaint. Together with your friends and family, you would feel young again seated in those little stools, made to look like cow-bellies. Do not forget to make a wish at the "Wishing Tree", although you would have to wait in line for your wish to be granted, considering the many others who have made wishes too. And although their ice cream is pricey, I left Ben & Jerry's satisfied and craving for more.

LIke crabs?come and visit CRAB VILLAGE then!

Location:1018 Sembawang Road,juz opposite the campsite during ole 2.

Along the enclosures of the road to Sembawang Park, two coffeeshop-restaurants occupy a little plot of land and one of the establishments is named “Crab Village”.Though it's located at a low-class place,the chairs,tables,it doesn't even give you the slightest hints of its delicacies.

Tired of the ubiquitous Singapore Chilli Crabs,and Black Pepper Crabs,try the delicious butter crab.After ordering,it takes quite some time to wait for it.On the contrary,that does not stop you
from tasting it.

Taking a glimpse of the food is very pleasing to the eyes.You would be able to smell the savory aroma of the butter crab.It is better to be eaten using your hands,they say.Handling crabs using the pinchers make noisy sounds.You'd find yourself drooling as the aroma draws your mouth to the food,excited to take the first bite.Yum!

While savouring the food,the butery taste comes out,and don't forget the extra lettuce!

When touching it,delicate hands are needed unless you want to see flying crab pieces.

Though it's quite expensive,its worth the price.

Cheese Prata

Tucked in between two condominiums is a humble restaurant called Al-Ameen.It has been there 40 years ago and is still here now.The food there is sumptuous but there is always a must order when you go there.It is the cheese prata.

After a long day at school,I will go there to have a taste of the cheese prata.At first sight, it may look like any prata you might find at a stall in Geylang.But wait till You get your tastebuds on it.With parmesan cheese oozing out of the sides of the bread,I can't wait to get my tongue on it.As you tear the bread apart, cheese starts oozing out and you start to drool.The moment you put it in your mouth,the cheese melts releasing a very undistinguishable taste makes you ravage for more.The smell of the cheese with the bread releases a very cheesy aroma making you drift into a tingling feeling of satisfaction

I would definitely reccomend you to go and try the cheese prata as it will definitely satisfy your tastebud after a long day at school.The price of one piece is $2.50 but it is definitely worth your money.

Cafe Cartel's St. Louis Pork Ribs is a definitely must try ! The meat is sweet, juicy and seems tasty. You cannot wait to pick up your fork and knife after you take a little look at it. The smell of it brings you closer to the pork ribs. The pork rib is so smooth that it will slip of your fingers easily. You will not be hearing funny noises when eating as the meat is so soft that will not make you use much effort to chew it. The taste of the pork ribs makes you crave for more ! There is a free flow of bread with every meal ordered.

I would definitely go back to eat. The price is around $15, affordable, once a while, not too often because the food is not so healthy.

Feeling hungry?Come down to Manhattan fish market at North point to grab a bite.It is located at #02-06.

It is inspired by the seafood restaurants along Fulton Street in Manhattan, serving you the freshest American style seafood. One bite is enough to keep you swimming back!

The grilled fish is crispy and juicy.Just a look at it makes you hungry.The mushroom are covered by a crispy layer.At the first bite,u will feel the crispy layer followed by the juiciness and freshness of the fried country mushroom.The mashed potato is very soft and it dissolves quickly after you put it in your mouth.There will be also a small portion of garlic butter rice.There are also other choices to choose like the Manhattan Fish n Chips, Salad & green and Combo! Manhattan Fish Market can also be found at Junction 8, White Sands, Plaza Singapura, The Central, IIuma and Marina Square.

There is a student promotion worth 6.90 and add on a drink for one dollar.If there is a chance, I would go back to eat again.Although it is quite expensive, it is still worth it.So hurry down to Manhattan Fish Market to satisfy your tastebuds.
